The combination of bright acidity unique to this vineyard site, and the wonderful complexity that comes with the sur-lees aging, creates a long, smooth finish of clean fruit flavors of melon and fig that linger on the palate. The result is a “Soliloquy” in perfect harmony.

A deliciously vibrant wine, with oak-inspired citrus peel, peach, fig and creamy honey-vanilla flavors. However, as succulent as it is, from such a great winery, it could be far better.

One of the first to see the future in high-class Sauvignon Blancs made in a non-malolactic, Bordeaux-like style, the 2006 Soliloquy exhibits the crisp, melony, fresh lemon grass notes of this varietal. All tank-fermented, this lively wine should be drunk over the next 1-2 years.
