This juicy Chianti Classico offers sweet flavors of wild berries, plum and toasted oak, followed by aromas of ripe cherry and violet. Fruit, tannins and body reach an elegant balance that carries through to the lingering finish. Chianti is the quintessential match for earthy, rustic, traditional Tuscan cuisine. Recommended with bean dishes, pastas, and roasted or barbecued meats. Wine Advocate The 2004 Chianti Classico is somewhat forward in its color, aromas and flavors considering the vintage.
